Brothers and Sisters in Christ worldwide,
On
behalf of Mwakasisi family, I take this opportunity to express my
gratitude to all who contributed in one way or another towards the
success of our wedding on July 28, 2012. Whether you prayed, or
supported us financially or with gifts, or you were part of the bridal
party, or you cooked, or you attended the wedding, ... you’re the reason
that made the difference. Honestly we had a wonderful and amazing
wedding because of you. God provided using you all! My beautiful loving
wife Violet as well as the children were elated … extremely happy!
Our
special thanks go to Rev. Dr. Paul Naumann and his gorgeous wife Dana
for their prayers and full support from beginning to end … even to the
point of persevering African timing which is most of the time off. We
thank both for opening up their home to our guests. Rev. Naumann is my
pastor and the Senior Pastor at St. Michael Lutheran Church and he is
the one who officiated the wedding. He did as great job didn’t he?
Our
special thanks go to Rev. Dr. Edwin Misigaro, Senior Pastor of
Maranatha Fellowship Church in Peoria, Illinois who was my best man;
Mrs. Josephine Kagumba of Kalamazoo, Michigan who was the Matron of
Honor, Apostle Robert Kagumba of Kalamazoo, Michigan who was the Master
of Ceremony.
Our
special thanks go to the best camera man I have ever come across,
Biseko Magesa of Berrien Springs, Michigan who took all the pictures.
Biseko is down to earth ... meaning very professional with natural
talent. Should you have any event that need photos taken, don’t
hesitate, just call Biseko.
Our
special thanks go to all bridemaids, groommaids, flower girl and the
ring bearer. You’re all awesome. As always you were so pretty and
handsome in those dresses and suits. It was indeed a flash!
Our
special thanks go Dr. Witness Mpesha from Windsor, Canada and Rev.
Nathaniel & Gloria Kigwila of Atlanta, Georgia for leading us in
awesome a cappella singing during the ceremony and reception.
Our
apology for delaying the word of thanks as we had planned to send it
when we’re done sorting out the wedding photos. It was indeed, a
daunting task. Finally we have 1,600 wedding photos online for you to
see what happened in Portage, Michigan on July 28, 2012. Take your time,
as there is too much to watch. We have categorized the photos in four
