WHAT IS LIFE?

Life continues whatever happens. All we need it is to be positive and be brave all the challenges we encounter. Faith in God is still the best armor......

God, in His mercy, gives us a lot of freedom. Absolutely. God has provided just such a procedure. It's called "prayer." You should try it. It works best if you apply it every time you need help as we  all experienced that sometimes we experience frustration  and looking for a quick solution or miracle from God, as the only two to make a difficult decision  and we start looking around for burning bushes where we believe the miracles lie. Surely on such a situation God always is ready to jump in and  give us direction. The following verses can help us to be close to God in our life when we need him.

Luke 12:22-34 Then Jesus said to his disciples: "Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat; or about your body, what you will wear. Life is more than food, and the body more than clothes. Consider the ravens: They do not sow or reap, they have no storeroom or barn; yet God feeds them. And how much more valuable you are than birds! Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to his life? Since you cannot do this very little thing, why do you worry about the rest?

Psalm 27:4-5
One thing I ask of the LORD,
this is what I seek:
that I may dwell in the house of the LORD
all the days of my life,
to gaze upon the beauty of the LORD
and to seek him in his temple.
For in the day of trouble
he will keep me safe in his dwelling;
he will hide me in the shelter of his tabernacle
and set me high upon a rock

Proverbs 14:27 The fear of the LORD is a fountain of life, that one may turn away from the snares of death.

Proverbs 18:21 Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and those who love it will eat its fruits.

A SWEET HOME

Never make your home in a place. Make a home for yourself inside your own head. You'll find what you need to furnish it - memory, friends you can trust, love of learning, and other such things. That way it will go with you wherever you journey.

POSITIVE ACTIONS

In a world filled with hate, we must still dare to hope. In a world filled with anger, we must still dare to comfort. In a world filled with despair, we must still dare to dream. And in a world filled with distrust, we must still dare to believe. -

Michael Jackson

BIBLE REMINDS US THAT

Romans 12:16 Be of the same mind toward one another; do not be haughty in mind, but associate with the lowly. Do not be wise in your own estimation.

Romans 15:5 Now may the God who gives perseverance and encouragement grant you to be of the same mind with one another according to Christ Jesus;

Luke 6:45, “A good man out of the good treasure of his heart brings forth that which is good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart brings forth that which is evil: for out of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaks.”
Ephesians chapter 4

Verse 28 If you used to rob, you must stop robbing and start working, in order to earn an honest living for yourself and to be able to help the poor.

Verse 29 Do not use harmful words, but only helpful words, the kind that build up and provide what is needed, so that what you say will do good to those who hear you.

Verse 31 Get rid of all bitterness, passion, and anger. No more shouting or insults, no more hateful feelings of any sort. 32 Instead, be kind and tender-hearted to one another, and forgive one another, as God has forgiven you through Christ

HAPPY VALENTINE 2012 AND BIBLE TEACHINGS

Valentine’s Day is all about LOVE. Song of Solomon 8:7  Many waters cannot quench love; rivers cannot wash it away. If one were to give all the wealth of his house for love, it would be utterly scorned

2 Chronicles 1:8 And Solomon said to God, “You have shown great and steadfast love to David my father, and have made me king in his place.

Psalms 52:8 But I am like a green olive tree in the house of God. I trust in the steadfast love of God forever and ever.

Daniel 9:4 I prayed to the LORD my God and made confession, saying, “O Lord, the great and awesome God, who keeps covenant and steadfast love with those who love him and keep his commandments…

1 John 4:16 So we have come to know and to believe the love that God has for us. God is love, and whoever abides in love abides in God, and God abides in him.

1 John 4:19 We love because he first loved us.

Matthew 22:37–40 And he said to him, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the great and first commandment. And a second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself. On these two commandments depend all the Law and the Prophets.”

Ephesians 5:25 Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ also loved the church and gave Himself up for her;

Ephesians 5:33 Nevertheless let each individual among you also love his own wife even as himself; and let the wife see to it that she respect her husband.

1 John 3:18 Little children, let us not love with word or with tongue, but in deed and truth

1 John 4:7 Dear friends, let us continue to love one another, for love comes from God. Anyone who loves is a child of God and knows God.

1 John 3:18 Dear children, let's not merely say that we love each other; let us show the truth by our actions.

1 Corinthians 13:13 Three things will last forever-faith, hope,and love-and the greatest of these is love.

Matthew 22:37-38 Jesus replied, "You must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, and all your mind. This is the first and greatest commandments."

Colossians 3:14  Above all, clothe yourselves with love, which binds us all together in perfect harmony.

1 Peter 4:8  Most important of all, continue to show deep love for each other, for love covers a multitude of sins.

1 Timothy 4:12  Don't let anyone think less of you because you are young. Be an example to all believers in what you say, in the way you live, in your love, your faith, and your purity.

2 Timothy 1:7  For God has not given us a spirit of fear and timidity, but of power, love and self-discipline.

SUNDAY MEDITATION

It takes more courage to reveal insecurities than to hide them, more strength to relate to people than to dominate them, more 'manhood' to abide by thought-out principles rather than blind reflex. Toughness is in the soul and spirit, not in muscles and an immature mind. - Alex Karras

This statement is very true God has wonderful promises and loves us with an everlasting love:  Abraham had to wait to see his prophesied son for 25 years:

All the time when we are asking and looking for God’s help we forget that God has all wisdom, purity and love and has the best interest at heart for us:

 The problem is when we reach that point where we think we cannot wait further. It is actually a mind set, a misconception to think that God is not going to help to fulfill what I have asked for;

Another wrong mindset that can become a stronghold is to think that we have to face certain difficulties with the same spiritual resources we have in the present. By doing that automatically we invite fear inside and we know that fear is not from God! No, there will always be a new set of spiritual muscles so to speak if we are to go through tough times. The more difficult the circumstance, the greater the strength we'll be given to overcome it!

Logically wrong expectations lead to frustration especially when we have waited for a long time and still nothing happens; As Saint Paul said "the weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds" 2 Corinthians 10:4.

While the book of (Deuteronomy 20:20) until the enemy's stronghold falls we are encouraged don't give up and we are reminded that  we need to continually build those principles  against our enemy by standing firm in our faith, spiritual toughness will flee Devil away and help us not to use muscles in judgments.

WHY WE NEED TO OBSERVE TIME?

Your time is limited, so don't waste it living someone else's life. Don't be trapped by dogma - which is living with the results of other people's thinking. Don't let the noise of other's opinions drown out your own inner voice. And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition. They somehow already know what you truly want to become. Everything else is secondary. - Steve Jobs

Paul insisted, “Therefore be careful how you walk, not as unwise men, but as wise, making the most of your time, because the days are evil” (Ephesians 5:15, 16).

Therefore all of us have been given resources, and how we organize and spend them determines how well we achieve the plans, goals, and tasks God has given each of us to accomplish.

Time to us is every thing let us utilized it effectively.

THE GIFT OF RECEIVING WITHOUT ASKING

Don't think of the few things we didn't get after praying. Think and Thank God of the countless beautiful things He gave without asking.

How God operates will remain the unknown phenomenon in our life, do you still remember how God  did the following?
  • God gave Noah the dream of building an ark.
  • God gave Abraham the dream of being the father of a great nation.
  • God gave Joseph the dream of being a leader that would save his people.
  • God gave Nehemiah the dream of building the wall around Jerusalem.
How do you know when a dream is from God or when it's just something you've thought up yourself? The Bible tells us that God, "by his mighty power at work within us is able to do far more than we would ever dare to ask or even dream of—infinitely beyond our highest prayers, desires, thoughts, or hopes." (Ephesians 3:20)

GOVERNMENT AND HEALTH WORKERS PLEASE RECONCILE

  • THE BOYCOTT CREATES FEAR AND LONELINESS;
  • WE CAN NOT TAKE ANYMORE;
  • GOD HAS TALENTED YOU FOR US AND NOT FOR YOURSELF;
  • GOD HELPS US

It is human nature to feel alone and frightened in other words this is natural to all human beings to fear if you don't believe;  But God remands us that through the book of Deuteronomy 6:13 “ Fear the Lord your God, serve him only and take your oaths in his name”.

in other words whenever you feel frightened, just relax. Accept the fact that fears is there if you don’t believe, but if you believe praise the lord and neglect it; don’t pay any attention to it. Read the Holy Books, reading will help your body to relax and fear automatically will disappear.

A believer person cannot be scared. You cannot frighten as long as you give all your fear to the Lord as Joshua 24:14 said "Now fear the Lord and serve him with all faithfulness. Throw away the gods your forefathers worshiped beyond the River and in Egypt, and serve the Lord.

In life every change creates fear, because every change is putting you into the unfamiliar, into a strange world. If nothing changes and everything remains static, you will never have any fear.Leviticus 25:17 tells that “Do not take advantage of each other, but fear your God. I am the Lord your God”.
  • 1Chronicles 16:25-26 for great is the Lord and most worthy of praise; he is to be feared above all gods. For all the gods of the nations are idols, but the Lord made the heavens?
  • Nehemiah 5:9 so I continued, "What you are doing is not right. Shouldn't you walk in the fear of our God to avoid the reproach of our Gentile enemies?
  • Proverbs 15:33 the fear of the Lord teaches a man wisdom, and humility comes before honor.

·         For I know what my plans for you are, plans to save you and not to harm you, plans to give you a future and to give you hope. (Jeremiah29:11)

·         The fear of Yahweh is rejection of evil. I hate all pride, arrogance, wicked ways and lies, (Proverbs8:13)

·         Love of Yahweh leads you to life; you will have your fill and live without fear. (Proverbs19:23)

·         The wicked man runs away even when no one is after him but the virtuous man feels as safe as a lion. (Proverbs28:1)

·         I keep the Lord always before me; for with him at my right hand, I will never be shaken. (Psalms16:8)

·         Although I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I fear no evil, for you are beside me: your rod and your staff comfort me. (Psalms23:4)

·         The Lord is my light and my salvation - whom shall I fear? The Lord is the rampart of my life; I will not be afraid. When the wicked rush at me to devour my flesh, it is my foes who stumble, my enemies fall. Though an army encamp against me, my heart will not fail; though war break out against me, I will still be confident. (Psalms27:1-3)

·         Do not be annoyed with evil people nor be envious of wrongdoers. For they will fade as any green herb and soon be gone like withered grass. (Psalms37:1-2)

·         But the Lord's kindness is forever with those who fear him; so is his justice, for their children's children, for those who keep his covenant and remember his commands, for those who put them into practice. (Psalms103:17-18)

·         The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom; prudent are those who live by his precepts. To him belongs everlasting praise. (Psalms111:10)

·         You who fear the Lord, trust in him; he is your help and your shield! (Psalms115:11)

·         But Jesus ignored what they said and told the official, "Do not fear, just believe." (Mark5:36)

·         With God nothing is impossible. (Luke1:37)

·         I tell you, my friends, do not fear those who put to death the body and after that can do no more. But I will tell you whom to fear: Fear the One who after killing you is able to throw you into hell. This one you must fear. Don't you get five sparrows for two pennies? Yet not one of them has been forgotten by God. Even the hairs of your head have been numbered. So do not fear: are you not worth more than a flock of sparrows? (Luke12:4-7)

·         Peace be with you; I give you my peace. Not as the world gives peace do I give it to you. Do not be troubled; do not be afraid. (John14:27)

·         If you remain in me and my words in you, you may ask whatever you want and it will be given to you. (John15:7)

·         All those who walk in the Spirit of God are sons and daughters of God. Then, no more fear: you did not receive a spirit of slavery, but the Spirit that makes you sons and daughters and every time we cry, "Abba! (this is Dad!) Father!" the Spirit assures our spirit that we are sons and daughters of God. (Romans8:14-16)

·         Be alert, stand firm in the faith, be courageous, be strong. (1Corinthians16:13)

·         For God did not confer on us a spirit of bashfulness, but of strength, love and good judgment. (2Timothy1:7)

·         Do not depend on money. Be content with having enough for today for God has said: I will never forsake you or abandon you, and we shall confidently answer: The Lord is my helper, I will not fear; what can man do to me? (Hebrews13:5-6)

·         Give in, then, to God; resist the devil and he will flee from you. (James4:7)

·         There is no fear in love. Perfect love drives away fear, for fear has to do with punishment; those who fear do not know perfect love. (1John4:18)

God bless Tanzania as  most public hospitals are getting worse as more doctors and other health workers are joining the strike to press the government to respond to their claims while on the other hand the numbers of dead patients are increasing.
