ARE WE GIVING TITHE TO THE LORD?

Malachi 3:10 "Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. Test me in this," says the LORD Almighty, "and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that you will not have room enough for it."

WHY GOD HAS NEVER USED LAZY PEOPLE AS EFFECTIVE LEADERS?

                                          OUR FATHER ABRAHAM

God always have been using  hard working people as his effective leaders, all anointed people for God’s work  have been hard-working, resilient men and women who also mobilize various resources for helping others in their well being without selfishness. Such people always have been using their  intellectual and professional knowledge continue to be, rich in their areas of pursuit, in order to remain helpful to many.

Effective leaders  they fear  God in the lives of such leaders, and they are faithful custodians of whatever is entrusted to them, passing them on to the rightful recipients. They keep a clear conscience before God and men, and are always loyal to God; this is integrity. They know that, one day, they will give the account of their stewardship to God, and are  always ready to give an honest report of their work to any   human authority that may  require it. Job’s life demonstrates these attributes substantially. For progress in  development, we need leaders who are accomplished and would not touch public funds for their own interests.

                           KING DAVID

Great leaders like Abraham  father of those who have faith  (Rom. 4:11-12). He trusted God when there was little to go on. He just believed God’s promises and stepped out. When  (Gen. 12:10-13; 20:1-2). Most of our current leaders are not like Abraham the father of Faith which made him to be a great and effective leader of all time;

                      NELSON MANDELA AND JULIUS NYERERE

When we read the story of David, who was simply doing his job, being faithful in small things and doing what his father told him to do. Keeping the sheep it involves more than just keeping it, because it always associated with   the midst of danger like  lions,  bears and wolves in order to protect the sheep. Because of hard work and humbleness God has called David to greater things. David was anointed by God as a great man, and a great king over Israel.

                          NYERERE AND NKWAME

Hard working leaders always have  faith  of the people and they are ready to take  risks. When you become a leader God calls you out of our comfort zone and asks you to lead people so that they can enjoy the fruits of their labor. Leaders Like Nelson Mandela and Julius K. Nyerere just to mention few falls in this category.

                             MICHAEL AND NYERERE

Therefore the Bible reminds us that God has always done great things through leaders who believed his promises and courageously pursued them despite the difficulties and opposition. Courage is necessary for leadership because what God is calling you to do is always beyond your own abilities and will always be met with opposition. Discouragement is always a threat.

IS LAZINESS AGAINST BIBLE TEACHINGS?

THE BIGGEST CHALLENGE OF HUMAN BEING IS OUR LAZINESS

The Bible reminds us through the first letter of Saint Paul to  Thessalonians chapter 5: 14 Brothers and sisters, we urge you to warn those who are lazy.  Encourage those who are timid.  Take tender care of those who are weak. Be patient with everyone.

Laziness is one of the most worldly forms of existence. Lazy people believe they are entitled to all the benefits the world has to offer yet they contribute nothing; as An old man, with keen insight, once said, "I have had more trouble with myself than with any other person I have ever met."

When we look so deep in our day to day life, we can learn that  most difficult bridge to our success is ourselves, and it is because of our tendency of being lazy physically, mentally and spiritually;
When student keeps saying I cannot concentrate on my school, it is only due to laziness;

When we see a marriage couple failing to manage their marriage, the most difficult problem is themselves, because of the physical, mentally spiritually laziness;

It is true that the reason why most people will never succeed is because they are lazy in whatever way, and because they do not want to put in the hard work and effort to get to where they dream of being.

The opposite of it is self improvement, hard work and persistence are key to overcome the laziness habit. The only way to get really good at something and become successful is by not giving up when you encounter resistance through thinking and hard work.
If you read bible  think about The story of David and Goliath  a story of how a little shepherd boy defeated a famous fully armed giant warrior, why because determination and hard work.

Proverbs chapter 14 23 Work and you will earn a living; if you sit around talking you will be poor.

Mat 25:26 His lord answered and said unto him, Thou wicked and slothful servant, thou knewest that I reap where I sowed not, and gather where I have not strawed:

I know that laziness, a lifestyle for some, but the Bible is clear that, because the Lord ordained work for the man, laziness is a sin. “Go to the ant, you sluggard! Consider her ways and be wise” Proverbs 6:6

When we read the book of Proverbs tells us that

  • A lazy person hates work: “The sluggard's craving will be the death of him, because his hands refuse to work” 21:25

  • He loves to sleep: “As a door turns on its hinges, so a sluggard turns on his bed” 26:14

  • He gives excuses: “The sluggard says, ‘There is a lion in the road, a fierce lion roaming the streets’” 26:13

  • He wastes time and energy: “He who is slothful in his work is a brother to him who is a great waster” 18:9
  •  He believes he is wise, but is a fool: “The sluggard is wiser in his own eyes than seven men who answer discreetly” 26:16.

  •  A lazy person is as bad as someone who destroys things. 18:9

  •  Being lazy will make you poor, but hard work will make you rich. 10: 4

  •  No matter how much a lazy person may want something, he will never get it. A hard worker will get everything he wants. 13: 4

Therefore The lazy man lives on excuses of why he cannot do this or that. It is not that he cannot do something, he will not but he doesn’t like to do it. Laziness is the product of lacking honest: We need to be honest with ourselves in solving this tendency. Laziness cause the door of opportunity to be shut. It cannot be reopened. Because of our  selfishness. Jesus pictured a person knocking on a door, but unable to gain entrance. The door was locked, and it could not be unlocked.

MUNGU WETU ANATAKA NINI TUMWOMBAPO?

ASANTE MUNGU WETU KWA KUJIBU MAOMBI YETU;

Tunajongea mbele ya kiti chako kwa unyenyekevu tukiomba wingi wa huruma yako na utusikilize katika shida zetu, na utupe majibu ya maombi;

Tunafahamu kuwa wewe ni Mungu ambaye unasikiliza maombi na unatujibu kwa wakati muafaka kulingana na neema yako;

Amina

KEEP YOUR JOY ALWAYS

ENJOY YOUR SUNDAY EVENING BY LISTENING TO THIS MESSAGE;

ACCEPT CHALLENGE TO MAKE EVERY MOMENT COUNT;

SUNDAY MESSAGE

God has given us 24 hours, 1,440 minutes and 86,400 seconds, every single day; since creation God told our first parents it is upon us how to decide and spent it.

With all the freedom God has given to us yet there is little we can do in our life that will make us truly happy. We still depend on God to make us happy and meet our needs; in his mercy  God still supply our needs according to his riches

We must be thankful because in whatever situation we find ourselves that God is with us in accomplishing our needs; whatever happens to us, especial in our disappointments  always God, looks from a different angles and provide a helping hand without our knowledge;

What we need to practice ourselves today as one scholar once said “ before you can control situations you must first control yourself”

ENJOY YOUR SUNDAY AND GIVE THANKS TO GOD FOR A WONDERFUL WEEK AND ALL BLESSINGS GRANTED TO YOU IN THE WHOLE WEEK;

AMEN

ARE WE HYPOCRITE WHEN WE JUDGE OTHERS?

Sam Bristow  once wrote “Why Do You Judge Me? You have not walked in my shoes, You have not been down my road, You have not cried my tears, You have not carried my load, Why do you judge me? Wayne Dyer wrote, "When you judge another, you do not define them, you define yourself".

The late Mother Teresa once said that “If you judge people, you have no time to love them.”

Jesus through Matthew 7:2 says, For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you. John 7:24 says, “Stop judging by mere appearances, but instead judge correctly.” Therefore  If you cannot judge correctly then don't judge at all.

Matthew 7:3-5 “Why do you see the speck that is in your brother’s eye, but do not notice the log that is in your own eye? 4 Or how can you say to your brother, ‘Let me take the speck out of your eye,’ when there is the log in your own eye? 5 You hypocrite, first take the log out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to take the speck out of your brother’s eye.”

The main message of Jesus here is that we should not to judge others if we are doing so by blinding ourself in other words not to be a hypocrite when you judge. To be a hypocrite is the same like being blind, ignorant, hypocritical, self-righteous judging that overlooks one’s own faults, failures and sins and only sees faults, failures and sins in other people. Because of this behavior we find ourselves being critical people by nature. We tend to think that we see things rightly and that others are wrong. We tend to think that our reasonings and our perspectives are at least just a little better than the people we disagree with. We seem to be quick to find fault and condemn people.
According to Jesus the right judgement is first take the plank out of your eye and then you can judge others rightly.

Therefore don’t go around with a self-righteous attitude that points out where others have failed while neglecting to first evaluate your own life. Don’t be a hypocrite by pretending to have it all together but call other people on the carpet for their sins and shortcomings. First, repent of your own sin, and then you can lovingly speak truth into another person’s life. You must do this because God is going to judge you, and if you have not been cleansed of your own sin, your judgmental attitude toward others will be one of the things that condemn you on that final day.
