HOW CAN
WE EXPLAIN FAITH, HOPE, AND LOVE…?
St. Paul 1 Corinthians 13:13 acknowledged that these
three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.
Why not faith and
hope?
As we read in 1 John 4:8, "God is
love." Therefore Love is the greatest. Love is the best. Love is
the most powerful. Love is the secret ingredient. Love is greater than faith
because faith depends upon love. Love is greater than hope because love keeps
hope alive. Love keeps life alive. Love banishes all darkness. Love is the
motive force in the universe. Love is your key to the Kingdom of God and is the
Door through which you must pass to enter the Kingdom of God.
Spread love. Show
love. Display love. Share love. And surrender to Love because Love surrendered
Himself to be crucified on the Cross for you.
What do you see in love that makes it the greatest?
Do you live each
day with the conviction that love matters most of all?
Are you willing to make love the top priority in your
life?
To me Faith, hope and love
are working together because "God should be worshipped in faith, hope, love,"
It is true that “Faith” is the way we choose to make sense out of
things that we don't fully understand. Faith is not just a feeling, it is
an action -- the act of placing trust in another person or idea or thing. Therefore
Faith is often thought of as something that
requires blind trust because no evidence exists to confirm it.
Therefore if we do not have a “hope”, there is
no room for faith. Faith stands on the platform of hope. Hope is not visible,
but faith grows out of hope to be visible. Hope is the root where faith is the
tree. If there is no root, there cannot be a tree. So also, if there is no
hope, there cannot be faith. If someone says that he has faith, ask him what
his hope is. If he stumbles for an answer, he does not have Bible faith. Faith
is the proof for hope.
